Hello!
Welcome to my weightloss page! I have been "in the process" to have weightloss surgery for a year
Finally everything came into place after such a long wait.
I am scheduled to have a gastric bypass on April 20th, 2005 This page will track my progress, my triumphs, and my feelings as i go through this process.
I hope that it will be in inspiration to others facing obesity in some way.
Heather

I am bouncing between 240 and 265, up and down for about 2 years now, I am also hypoglycemic now, which diet wise, conflicts withthe gastric bypass diet, and that is a struggle, my health iss till very good, aside from fibromyalgia, and oseoarthritis, which has hindered me in exercise, 2006 my GYN also began trying to treat a condition with hormones and it did not work, and turned my PMS into PMDD, which comes with such intense cravings, you lose the fight. I had a hysterectomy in 2007, so that issue is clear.
October 8th, 2007-278-Doctor starting me on phentermine to get back on track, because, trying to reconcile between the gastric bypass and hypoglycemic diet has caused me alot of issues leading to me eating too much, i rarely exceed 2000 calories, however, my max as a GB patient should be 1400.

I am having knee replacement surgery 2/17/09, i am interested in how it will effect my weight loss
March 3rd, 2009-277 (the knee replacement weighs 5lbs, so this puts me down by 2 lbs, not bad since for the last 2 weeks i have not been strickly sticking to my diet, counting calories, etc, because i have been unable to stand much to prepare meals, plus myt diet limitations with teh gastric bypass, hypoglycemia, allergies, and food intolerences, as well as not being allowed to eat certain things while i am temporarily on a medication post op, so, i have been living on high fiber granola bars, cheese, reduced fat wheat thins, cheerios in skim milk, skinny cow low fat ice cream sandwiches, lean bacon, chef boy r dee spaghetti and meatballs, a small amount of lean ground sirloin, and a little fruit.
